Woodhall Spa 2nds Win With Late Ackerman Header

Woodhall veteran skipper Simon Behan won the toss and puts high flying Moulton Harrox in on a road. Groundsman legend Nigel believes this was a great decision as Woodhall he felt low on batting. A brilliant bowling display from Sam Cherry, Dewi Bourke, Freddy Bailey, Alfie Lindsey, Pete Jackson, Michael Ackerman and Matthew Haslam restricted Moulton to 186 despite a little bit of sloppy fielding display which has not been like Woodhall this year. Good knocks from Jack and Matthew Barnett and away skipper Josh Newton.

Woodhall Spa’s reply led by a the oldest opening partnership in SL&B history Simon Behan and the tin man Sam Cherry gets Spa off to a great start , all batsman contributed with vice captain slowly adding runs however more then useful knocks from Garner, Lindsey and Ackerman get the Spa home. The winning runs coming from Ackerman heading a Rose bouncer for two.
