Strong Showings From Under 13s

The under-13 side had two excellent performances this week.

In the County Cup fixture last night (Thursday) the side progressed through to the next round with a 177 run victory over Skegness. Batting first Spa posted a huge 200-1 form 18 overs. Five of the home side’s batsmen retired at the 30 run mark before the bowlers got in on the act bowling Skegness out for 23. Emma Leggate taking 3-10.

The night before the side beat Barkston & Syston in the league by 88 runs. Spa posted 136-1 before keeping their visitors down to 46-6.
