Malinga Bought At Auction

Club professional Malinga Bandara has been bought at the auction for the inaugural 20/20 Masters Champions League to be held in the UAE during January and February.

The competition will see six teams – named after star signs – take part in a round robin style competition at grounds in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah with all teams made up of retired international superstars.

Malinga, bought for $35,000, will play for Team Virgo alongside the likes of Brett Lee, Jonty Rhodes, Graeme Smith and Owais Shah.
