Ladies Keep Winning Ways Going

The newly formed ladies super 8’s keep going from strength to strength with a fine victory at home to Nettleham on Sunday the 4th of June. Captain Claire Garner won the toss and placed Nettleham into bat which was a master shot with Milly Roberts getting 3 wickets from her 4 overs and only going for 5 runs. All other bowlers had their part to play with, Nicola Curran, Jade Galpin & Rosie Finney all getting 1 wicket each holding their opponents to a minus score of 1 leaving a net score of 199. Up steps the batting attack scoring a huge amount of runs together hitting 136-1 leaving a net score of 331. Jade got 32 runs however her sister Charlie Windley got her maiden 50 scoring a huge unbeaten 52*. Woodhall went on to win by 132 runs, this Leaves the Super 8’s team in a very commanding position not losing a game this year on 15 points leaving the next game against Collingham CC an important fixture.
