Dinner and AGM

The Annual Dinner and Awards took place on Saturday at The Dower House – one of the Club’s main sponsors.
The evening was a roaring success with the main awards being won by Alfie Lindsey (Most Improved Player of the Year), Jack Timby (Young Player of the Year) and Pete Jackson (Clubman of the Year).
Two days later the AGM was held at the Pavilion with the successes of the 2016 season on and off the field were reported on before new officers were elected for the forthcoming year.
the only major changes were Ross Dixon taking on the role of 1stXI vice-captain and Matthew Sargeant being elected 2ndXI Captain following the Saturday retirement of Paul Timby. Danny Wells will also be the 2ndXI vice-captain.
Alex Wilson was also invited onto the main committee.
